Shaun Rahimi is CEO and founder of Thimble Bioelectronics. An award-winning innovator that has worked on the design and development of over 40 different medical devices at start ups since he was 15 years old. He has also held R&D roles at Neuropace, Sadra Medical, Modified Polymer Components and Abbott Labs where he participated in the design and development of novel polymer-based products and manufacturing processes.
Kevin McCullough is CTO and co-founder of Thimble Bioelectronics. Founder of Gecko Engineering, an electronics engineering and product development firm. Wide range of expertise in electronic circuit design, sensors, microcontrollers, and wireless technology. Also skilled in mechanical design, CNC machining, 3D CAD and DFM. Designed and developed a robotics hardware platform for Microsoft and control electronics in a medical product for Stryker. Worked previously at Parallax Semiconductor designing new products and supporting customer applications. Also worked in R&D at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC). Received BS from Oregon Tech in Electronics Engineering Technology.
Earl Vickers is Firmware Lead at Thimble Bioelectronics. Founder of The Sound Guy, Inc., an audio DSP software company whose award-winning products have been used by successful musicians (BT, Pete Townshend, Motley Crue, Nine Inch Nails) and in numerous video games and films (including "Kill Bill" and NASA's International Space Station promo video). Designed audio and video hardware and software for the video game industry (Bally/Midway and Atari). Wrote firmware for sound cards and portable media players at Creative Labs. Worked at STMicroelectronics as Principal DSP Algorithm Engineer prior to joining Thimble Bioelectronics. Received BS in Electrical Engineering from Duke University.
